Graduate Training Opportunities
The Family and Disability Research Collaborative, Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine, University of Alberta, is actively seeking a post-doctoral fellow and/or doctoral student to contribute to a multi-disciplinary program of community-partnered research concerned with disability, gender and violence. Successful applicants will likely have:
· completed a thesis in the social/ behavioural/ health sciences;
· demonstrated interest, at the undergraduate or graduate level, in gender and or disability studies;
· the ability to think critically, and connect theory to action;
· skills for collaboration, working effectively in a team setting; and,
· well developed writing skills, as evidenced by previous publications.
Graduates with lived experience of disability are strongly encouraged to apply.
